Hines Polska, the manager of the Warsaw New City office complex for Hines Global REIT, has introduced a number of changes and amenities in the building located at 15 Marynarska Street. Its tenants can now enjoy refurbished common areas, the mezzanine and terrace, as well as one of the world’s first folding bike rental boxes.
The New City complex has long boasted numerous green solutions and transport facilities, as well as excellent amenities for bikers. Apart from the dedicated Carpooling system and a Veturilo station, Hines provided the tenants with Poland’s first folding bike rental box offering the #CHANGE service, which enables them to move around the city on Strida bicycles.
“We always encourage our tenants to choose alternative green modes of transport, and the bicycle is the greatest remedy for gridlocked streets and crowded trams. That is why we worked with Bike2Box, a company with which we regularly organize the Bike Day, to propose the bike rental box, an innovative and practical solution. Light, compact, folding bikes are perfectly suited for city rides,” says Tomasz Sasin, Hines sustainability manager.
Regardless of the mode of transport, New City complex employees can expect a seamless commute to work, despite the ongoing roadworks in Marynarska Street. New City, as the only building in this part of the Mokotów district, can be accessed from three directions, including Cybernetyki Street.
In addition, as part of its continuous effort to improve comfort of the tenants and respond to their needs, Hines has completely renovated the common areas – the mezzanine and terrace – which are already available to complex visitors and employees. The new mezzanine serves as both a relaxation area and meeting venue. Fitted with modern and comfortable furniture, the terrace is located on the X floor of the building and can be accessed by all New City tenants.
